he saw the bruises appear
he saw the blood pouring
and he solemly closed his eyes

the screaming became heart ripping
tears flowed freely
becoming a transparent red
still no one came

running down the street
ripped apart
she opens her heart to the world
but no one wants to see

now everyone whispers
about what she has done
but when showing them
they turned a blind eye
